Fukuoka Branch
Domestic Network & Facilities
Features of the Fukuoka Branch
Based at Hakata Port, the gateway to Asia, we propose optimal logistics connecting Kyushu with the world.
Based at Hakata Port, which is the shortest route to Asia and boasts diverse international container shipping routes, we provide rapid logistics services. Our strength lies in our speedy response, made possible by our direct access to the field. Currently, in addition to strengthening our "frozen and refrigerated cargo" system, we are also focusing on domestic shipping logistics to Okinawa. By utilizing advanced temperature control and a wide transportation network, we optimize food logistics, achieving both freshness preservation and reduced lead times. We will expand our "proactive logistics" from Fukuoka to the world and within Japan.

I asked people who actually work there.
Please tell me your main cargo handling duties.
The cargo handled by our Fukuoka branch is incredibly dynamic, supporting local industries and people's lives! Our core business is handling bulk cargo, primarily "feed grains" such as soybeans and corn. We play a vital role in supplying these efficiently and safely. Furthermore, in recent years, we've been focusing heavily on "material handling logistics," aiming to improve efficiency and automation in logistics. By combining cutting-edge logistics technology with proven expertise, we experience the excitement of leading the future of logistics in Kyushu every day.
What kind of characteristics do successful people possess?
At our Fukuoka branch, members ranging from teenagers to those in their 60s are actively contributing, each leveraging their unique strengths. A distinctive feature is that, in fact, more than half of our employees are under 40, making it a vibrant workplace primarily composed of young people. There are no age barriers; cheerful greetings and frequent information sharing across departments happen naturally. Teamwork is essential in the logistics field, and if someone encounters a problem, even older, veteran colleagues are readily and kindly available to offer support. With the support of those around them, it's an environment where young employees can take on challenges with a sense of urgency.
Are there any events or community involvement unique to this location?
At our Fukuoka branch, we have warm connections that transcend generations and departments! Through voluntary BBQs and welcome/farewell parties, we have an environment where everyone, from young employees to veterans, can deepen their relationships on a level playing field. We also value our ties with the local community, with several employees participating in the Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival, and volunteers actively participating in regular cleanup activities at Hakata Port. We are a vibrant workplace full of energy and unity, where everyone fully enjoys both company events and community activities.
