On-site services at steel mills
We utilize the technical skills we've cultivated in product loading operations at our client, Nippon Steel Corporation's Hirohata site, as well as in the transportation of by-products (slag) and in-plant logistics for environmentally conscious electric furnace operations, to contribute to safe operations by operating large special vehicles such as cranes, trucks, and trailers.

I asked people who actually work there.
Please tell me your main cargo handling duties.
Our branch's operational department, the Logistics Department, consists of two sections: the Port Operations Section and the Transportation Section, which are primarily involved in the operation of the steel mill. The Port Operations Section's main cargo handling includes the unloading of semi-finished products called slabs (unloading cargo from ships), which are the raw materials for manufacturing steel products, and the loading of processed steel products called coils onto ships to deliver them to customers both domestically and internationally.
The Transportation Department primarily handles by-products generated during the steelmaking process at steel mills, as well as machine parts used in factories, and is responsible for on-site logistics within the steel mills.
What kind of characteristics do successful people possess?
The Hirohata branch is one of the few steel-related branches within the Kamigumi group.
Our main clients are steel mills, and we believe that individuals who can accurately understand what our clients expect from us and take swift action to resolve those needs will thrive here. It is difficult for one person to meet all needs, and we mostly work together as a company to address them. Building trust through regular communication with clients, and having a broad perspective that includes knowledge of on-site operations and safety in order to propose solutions, will lead to opportunities for success.

[Regional Characteristics]
Himeji City, where our Hirohata branch is located, is in the Banshu region. This region is known for its unique autumn festivals, which are held in rotation in each area, including the Nada Fighting Festival, and continue for about a month. Another characteristic is the strong Banshu dialect, which is different from the Kansai dialect. Visitors from other regions may initially think that people are angry even if they are speaking normally, but please rest assured. Everyone is just being themselves.
