Please tell me your main cargo handling duties.
Our main cargo includes household appliances (such as electric fans and heated tables) and everyday goods, which are the majority of products you see in mass retail stores. We store them in our warehouse and deliver them domestically. We also handle a wide range of products for both domestic and international distribution, including copiers and fax machines, printer toner cartridges, LCD TVs and monitor films, furniture for online sales, daily necessities (such as municipal-designated plastic bags), precision machinery for overseas markets, and heavy cargo. We handle receiving, shipping, storage, and delivery for all our products.
What kind of characteristics do successful people possess?
While the job roles vary, what they all have in common is a commitment to taking responsibility for and completing the tasks assigned to them. Each department—sales, operations, and field—always keeps "reporting, contacting, and consulting" in mind. The sales department maintains close contact with customers to quickly obtain information, which is then shared with the operations department and deployed to the field. While this may seem like common sense, the thorough implementation of "reporting, contacting, and consulting" prevents errors in work arrangements, and allows for more time to prepare for work by obtaining information early at the field, leading to safer operations. In short, each department works together responsibly to complete the tasks assigned to them.
Are there any events or community involvement unique to this location?
At our site at Kobe Airport, we participate in monthly cleanup activities around the airport in collaboration with companies in the surrounding area, which provides an opportunity for interaction with local businesses. Furthermore, we sometimes receive words of gratitude from ordinary airport users during these cleanup activities, which gives us a sense of happiness and energizes us.
