Features of the Kashima Branch
As a leading company in integrated logistics
The Kashima branch is located in the Kashima Port area of Kamisu City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and is involved in the unloading, import customs clearance, storage, dispatch, and distribution of grains, feed ingredients, and other industrial raw materials transported by foreign vessels.
Kashima, located here, has achieved significant development not only as a production area for agricultural and livestock products in the Kanto region but also throughout Japan. In Japan, grains other than rice are imported from overseas, and establishing a smooth import system is essential for a stable food supply. As a leading company in comprehensive logistics, we will contribute to the development of feed, livestock, and dairy farming in Kashima and the surrounding Kanto region, as well as to the local community.

I asked people who actually work there.
Please tell me your main cargo handling duties.
Our warehouse handles a wide variety of cargo, including grains, feed, fertilizers, staple rice, processed rice, feed rice, industrial raw materials, and food products, as well as loading, unloading, warehousing, ship operations, and container operations.
What kind of characteristics do successful people possess?
People who value teamwork, who can work safely and responsibly, and who can work quickly are the ones who thrive here.
Whether loading and unloading various types of cargo from foreign ships or handling various types of cargo within the warehouse, the key to success lies in how safely and quickly cargo can be loaded, unloaded, and stored.
Therefore, it is important to work collaboratively with others.
Are there any events or community involvement unique to this location?
As an annual event, several companies and teams participate in a baseball tournament (especially amateur and corporate league softball) held in Kamisu City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Because Kamisu City is home to the Kashima Coastal Industrial Zone, there are many corporate teams and related teams, and we compete against a variety of companies and teams. The tournament is held in a knockout format, and our goal is to advance past the first round.
