We are promoting global expansion in 15 countries around the world, primarily in Southeast Asia. In addition to logistics businesses tailored to the needs of each country, we also operate port infrastructure in five countries (investment in and operation of terminals) and make dynamic business investments such as overseas M&A. This is a core department that handles everything from market research for overseas business expansion to company establishment and business management.

Please tell me your main cargo handling duties.
Major cargo handled at our overseas bases includes a wide variety of container cargo handled at terminals in Spain and Thailand, as well as automobiles (finished vehicles) handled at our dedicated terminal in Indonesia. Bulk cargo such as agricultural products (grains, etc.) handled at our terminal in Myanmar is also important. Furthermore, we handle a wide range of items that support the industrial development of each country, from large-scale machinery and equipment (including installation within factories) amounting to dozens of containers for our customers' factory construction, to construction materials and infrastructure cargo that forms the foundation of ports handled through cross-border transport.
What kind of characteristics do successful people possess?
While language skills in English, Chinese, and other languages are certainly an advantage, what's even more important is having a proactive, challenging spirit to move things forward even in unfamiliar environments. Through your work, you'll be involved in identifying overseas projects, formulating business plans, and analyzing financial statements, so you'll naturally acquire knowledge of finance and accounting on the job. Therefore, those with a broad interest in global management, business management, cross-border M&A, and languages tend to thrive here. Recently, many employees have also gained solid logistics experience, such as forwarding, at various branches and business headquarters, and then leveraged that expertise to become expatriates on a global scale.
Are there any events or community involvement unique to this location?
We value our connections with local communities and implement unique initiatives in each country. For example, our Thai office conducts mangrove planting activities and regular cleanups of surrounding areas, contributing to the protection of the natural environment and the promotion of sustainability.
Furthermore, to deepen camaraderie with national staff (local staff), we conduct various activities at each location. These include an annual company trip, BBQ parties, sports competitions, and casual get-togethers. Through these friendly events, open communication transcends nationality and position, leading to improved teamwork in daily operations.
