Experts in port-related operations

We operate the industry's first state-of-the-art container terminal operated solely by a port operator on Port Island in Kobe. Behind the container terminal is a multi-purpose logistics center with temperature-controlled warehouses, which we operate as a versatile logistics warehouse that can handle a wide variety of cargo, including fresh produce, household goods, large construction machinery, and plant facility parts. The Rokko Island Terminal has packaging facilities, enabling us to provide integrated logistics services from cargo packaging to shipping.

I asked people who actually work there.

Please tell me your main cargo handling duties.

At a container terminal, containers are the primary cargo handled.
The logistics center in the hinterland provides CFS (Container Freight Station) services, handling a wide variety of cargo including non-perishable food products, daily necessities, pet supplies, glass, precision machinery parts, and construction equipment and machinery parts. They also load vehicles directly into containers.
Large construction equipment such as cranes and excavators, trucks, and heavy or large cargo such as long steel beams that cannot fit into containers are loaded and unloaded directly from the ship.

What kind of characteristics do successful people possess?

Many of our jobs are on a dynamic scale, involving many people to complete the work. Operators handle cargo using material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes. Foremen oversee the entire operation while monitoring the work progress. Highly specialized professionals work together as a team.
Before cargo handling operations begin, communication with government agencies may be necessary, so people who can proactively communicate with various individuals are highly valued.
