A group of logistics professionals who play a vital role in the Nagoya Steel Works.
Based at Nippon Steel Corporation's Nagoya Works, we are a professional group specializing in steel logistics, handling everything from the transportation and processing of steel products to the precise installation of massive machinery, and from overhead crane operation to inspection and maintenance. In addition to advanced driving skills for operating large cranes and trucks, we also possess expertise in steel processing and crane repair. With our strengths in "on-site capabilities" supporting one of Japan's largest factories and "planning and execution capabilities" to complete large-scale logistics projects from start to finish, we provide safe and high-quality services.

I asked people who actually work there.
Please tell me your main cargo handling duties.
We handle cargo for the steelmaking industry, which supports Japanese industry. Our main products include massive blocks of steel such as "automotive steel sheets" that make up car bodies and "slabs" that are the raw materials for them, as well as specialized cargo that you wouldn't normally see on ordinary roads, such as equipment parts necessary to maintain vast steel mills and extra-heavy objects with unusual shapes. Each of these items weighs tens of tons, and we play an indispensable and crucial role in supporting the stable operation of steel mills from the ground up.
What kind of characteristics do successful people possess?
1. We are looking for someone who enjoys change and possesses the "ability to adapt to changing circumstances" by taking immediate action. Logistical needs change moment by moment depending on the production status of the steel mill and the weather. You will need to be sensitive to these changes, judge "what should be prioritized now," and see things through to the end with a sense of urgency.
2. Individuals with the ability to propose solutions that go "above and beyond" to meet customer needs. These individuals don't just complete requests; they proactively think, "Is there a more efficient way to transport goods?" and propose new logistics solutions. They are professionals who work closely with relevant departments to "turn solutions into reality" for customer problems, leading to satisfying outcomes.
Are there any events or community involvement unique to this location?
[Branch Event: Off-duty time to deepen bonds]
We value interaction that goes beyond the confines of work. After the year-end ekiden (long-distance relay race), we hold a "Friendship BBQ Party" that transcends departmental boundaries! Interacting after a refreshing workout is a great opportunity to deepen teamwork. In addition, we open the rooftop of our company housing to employees and their families during the Tokai City Fireworks Festival in the summer. Watching from a prime viewing spot is very popular as a family activity.
[Engagement with the community: As a local hero]
At the Tokai City Autumn Festival, impressive heavy machinery is on display. Not only is it open to children, but special heavy machinery cards are also given away, conveying the appeal of logistics to the next generation in a fun way.
