Domestic Network & Facilities
Features of the Yahata Branch
As a hub for diverse services including transportation and machinery
Originating from handling steel-related products in the Kitakyushu area of Fukuoka Prefecture, our company is located in Kokurakita Ward and serves as a base for activities such as handling steel sheet coils, industrial machinery, and construction/industrial materials for power plants and other facilities. In addition, we handle jumbo tires and natural rubber, and have recently established a base for handling aquatic feed, thus handling a wide variety of cargo.
In addition to maintenance and repair of large cargo handling equipment, including gantry cranes, we also engage in a wide range of businesses such as assembly, installation, and upgrade work.

I asked people who actually work there.
Please tell me your main cargo handling duties.
Our main cargo handling operations include the transportation of large steel components and other materials within the Yawata Steel Works (now the Yawata area of Nippon Steel Kyushu Works), as well as the arrangement of heavy machinery for the repair of on-site facilities. We also handle the loading, unloading, and storage of a wide variety of cargo, including steel sheet coils for automobile manufacturers, industrial machinery and equipment, jumbo tires, natural rubber, and aquatic feed.
In addition to handling construction and industrial materials for power plants and other facilities, we also provide maintenance and repair services for a wide range of large-scale equipment, including gantry cranes, overhead cranes and cargo lifting equipment in warehouses and factories, as well as amusement park rides such as roller coasters and boarding facilities at airports and ports. We also handle assembly, installation, and upgrade work for these facilities.
What kind of characteristics do successful people possess?
At the Yawata branch, we have established our revenue base around two main pillars: the transportation and machinery divisions, and a wide variety of people are active in all kinds of job roles.
However, successful people generally share the following characteristics:
- Be serious and sincere in your work, both inside and outside the company. - Prioritize and respond deeply and meticulously. - Don't be bound by precedent and try new things. - Quickly catch signs of new changes and take action to address them. - Act swiftly without fear of failure. - Always be fair and just to society.
In addition to the above, our store is a hub for different industries (logistics and heavy construction), making it easier to propose integrated transportation services (from transportation to installation) to our customers. A major advantage is the ability to build networks of contacts with other stores and industries.
Are there any events or community involvement unique to this location?
As part of recreational activities at local companies, we recruit volunteers to form teams and participate in sports tournaments such as futsal and bowling.
Furthermore, we continue to promote regional development and exchange through our sponsorship of local festivals in Kitakyushu, such as the "Kokura Gion Festival" (a portable shrine festival) and the "Wakamatsu Minato Festival."
