Recognizing that protecting the global environment is a crucial issue common to all humanity, our company aims to harmonize business activities with environmental conservation, strive to reduce environmental impact through environmentally conscious business practices, and promote continuous environmental conservation activities throughout the group, with the goal of contributing to society.

1. We will comply with environmental laws, ordinances, and regulations, and strive to protect the global environment.
2. We will promote resource conservation, energy conservation, recycling, reuse, waste reduction and proper disposal, and the suppression of pollutant emissions, striving to make effective use of limited natural resources and prevent environmental pollution.
3. With the aim of reducing our environmental impact, we will set environmental targets that take into account the various effects our business activities have on the global environment, systematically promote environmental conservation activities to achieve these targets, and strive for continuous improvement through regular reviews of these activities.
4. Through education, guidance, and internal communication activities related to environmental issues, we aim to promote employees' understanding of and awareness of the preservation of the global environment, increase their willingness to participate in environmental conservation activities, and strive to promote smooth environmental management.
5. This environmental policy will be made widely available to the public, including by posting it on our company website.

Regarding the above, the Internal Audit Department, which reports directly to the President, constantly monitors the situation at each store nationwide and provides guidance to improve management conditions, including correcting any deficiencies, in order to prevent, reduce, and mitigate environmental pollution, thereby promoting the prevention of environmental pollution.

The Kamigumi Group positions efforts to protect the global environment as one of its key management priorities and has established a promotion system centered around the "Sustainability Committee."

This committee deliberates on important matters related to environmental promotion, including the formulation of policies and setting of targets for environmental conservation, including responses to climate change (such as responses to TCFD recommendations), and monitoring of progress. These matters are regularly reported to and submitted to the Board of Directors for deliberation, and effective environmental management is promoted under the supervision of the Board of Directors.

Furthermore, to ensure practical implementation, we have established a "Sustainability Subcommittee" and other subcommittees under the committee. The ESG Promotion Office, which serves as the secretariat, and each business division work together to develop concrete environmental impact reduction activities at the operational level.
