Waste reduction and pollution prevention

Our company is committed to protecting the global environment by complying with environmental laws, ordinances, and regulations. As part of this commitment, we actively work to address climate change, reduce pollutant emissions, reduce waste, improve efficiency, and mitigate or avoid impacts.

Our business activities involve extensive use of materials such as stretch film, cardboard, flexible containers, wood, and plastic. To make effective use of limited resources, we strive to reduce waste generation (reduce), reuse materials (reuse), and recycle.
We properly dispose of the waste we generate in accordance with the regulations of each local government. Furthermore, we properly store the "manifests" detailing the amount of industrial waste, and we conduct internal audits of these manifests.
Furthermore, the amount of waste generated in fiscal year 2024 was 9,630 tons, and the goal for fiscal year 2025 is to improve waste generation compared to the previous year. While we are already processing the waste appropriately and recycling some of it, we will be promoting further recycling in the future.

Our company actively engages in water conservation on a daily basis to protect and sustainably use water resources. Our water usage in fiscal year 2024 was 250,205 ^m³ .

There were no environmental violations during the 2024 fiscal year. Furthermore, there were no fines.
