Dialogue between labor and management
Basic principles of dialogue between labor and management
Kamigumi supports and respects the right to freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining. Together, Kamigumi and the labor union aim to create a workplace where everyone can work comfortably and will build a stable relationship.
Main initiatives
To ensure the smooth operation of the business, the development of the company, and the improvement of working conditions for union members, we listen to the diverse voices of employees across different job categories and hold labor-management negotiations three times a year. Furthermore, when introducing or changing various systems, we hold consultations each time for those with a significant impact, ensuring that employee voices are reflected in management decisions.
Local employment and local procurement
The Kamigumi Group's Corporate Code of Conduct demonstrates its commitment to cooperation with the international community and contribution to local communities. Our code of conduct declares our commitment to respecting the culture and norms of local communities, contributing to their development, and conducting business activities with consideration for those communities. Based on this understanding, we will contribute to the development of local communities through social contribution activities that contribute to the improvement and expansion of the region's economic and social infrastructure.
Equal pay for equal work / Minimum wage
Our group is committed to complying with international rules and local laws, and we ensure that our employees receive fair wages in accordance with the minimum wage laws and the principle of equal pay for equal work in each country. In Japan, we divide our core generalist employees into nationwide employees and regional employees, and we have established salary and compensation systems for each that are based on their roles, the scope of their duties, and their achievements, ensuring that there are no differences between genders at the same qualification and job level.
